Find the rule before the answer

Find the relevant Washington source and know what a learning badge means.

Start with the place and activity

Before answering a rule question, establish where it applies and what someone wants to do. Washington state and tribal rules are not interchangeable. Use a current official source instead of relying on a remembered chart.

Know which reference to open

Chapter 314-55 WAC covers Washington cannabis business rules. Chapter 246-70 WAC covers medical product standards. WAC means Washington Administrative Code. These links help you start a lookup; they are not a complete compliance checklist.

Check a label against the rule

Open WAC 314-55-105, the packaging and labeling section. Choose one requirement, record its subsection and check which product it applies to. Note the date. Ask a responsible reviewer when the application is unclear.

Know what you have earned

Our badge means you completed an introductory check. A Washington medical cannabis consultant certificate follows a separate Department of Health process. Completing this lesson does not grant that credential or qualify you to give medical advice.

Check your understanding.

Answer both correctly to save the Standards Explorer badge. You can retry after reading the feedback.
